agarose gels
so today i was running a gel (for those of you who arent biology types, a gel is used to seperate DNA parts by length; it's a viscous kind of material, kind of floppy) and it made me hungry for asian jellies. i need to go find some asian jellies.
thats not particularly funny. killing mice is not a light joking matter; you can feel the pulse and the warmth of a living body under your hands. food is not on the mind after mice experiments, don't think that i take those experiments and those deaths lightly.
on a lighter note, what is disgusting about thinking about eating in conjunction with lab work? you get hungry when you're working, why can't i? i'm not actually going to EAT the gel, it just reminds me of food. dont be so squeamish :P
